Part of the Van Gogh collection, the Starry Night Ballpoint pen translates the iconic painting into an elegant, sophisticated writing instrument. One of Van Gogh’s most famous paintings, this pen captures its essence with rich, marbled colours of midnight blue interspersed with terracotta red, sky blue, sunshine yellow and white. Similar to the Rembrandt collection, the barrels are made from manually mixed natural resin creating the unique swirling effect, a reference to the dabbled skies of the painting and Van Gogh’s technique.

The barrel, an 18 faceted form which tapers down to the circular tip, is completely unique to this collection. A wonderful iridescent aesthetic is created as the sides catch the light and glisten, like stars twinkling in the night sky. This combined with the palladium-plated brass tip makes it exceptionally comfortable to use. This beautiful ergonomic detailing continues in the remaining palladium-plated brass trims.

The cap band is embossed with painter’s name and the painting title it pays tribute to, whilst the cap top contains an ornately pressed finial of the Visconti logo. A quirky feature of all Visconti pens, this can be removed using a Visconti magnet and changed for your initials, Zodiac sign or a precious stone. The cap is embellished with Visconti’s unmistakable bridge clip – a reference to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. Being sprung it easily clips onto any pocket or notebook for safe transportation. The ballpoint uses a twist mechanism to effortlessly reveal the pen point and to remove the barrel when refilling.

STUNNING DISPLAY BOX – Starry Night is beautifully presented in a white, textured box, the lid is adorned with the striking ‘Self Portrait with Grey Felt Hat’ painting. Inside the pen sits on a stepped plush, ivory cushion, accompanied by a decorative bookmark of the painting the pen references.

SPECIFICATION – This pen takes A38 ballpoint refills. Crafted from natural resins with palladium plated brass trims ensures that it maintains its glossy, smooth aesthetic overtime.
